Ellinor Balbach, student in performing arts pedagogy, spent 2 months Mitrovica where ethnic conflict occured.

With the aim to build mutual understanding between ethnics, she worked with 3 adolescents from different ethnic background to create artistic discourse to understand and respect their own as well as “other” cultures.

This intercultural project highlighted the meaningful performing arts pedagogy and brought an interesting perspective on integration to Germany.

After graduation, she started her career as a freelancer working in fields of integration, migration and prevention.
